With a shared patio on the outside and a garden patio on the inside, even though it is on the ground floor, our Room 001 enjoys magnificent natural light. We wanted to respect the original structure of the house, so its bathroom is almost as big as the room, with a shower and bathtub beside the window, which invite you to delve into elaborate beauty rituals. The kind we only give ourselves when on holiday. This is a small oasis right in the heart of Mahon.
On the ground floor, it is a wonderfully accessible room of generous proportions. Ideal and adaptable for people with special needs. It’s like coming to a small apartment that contains everything you need. An entrance hall, a large custom bookshelf housed in an original arch, built-in wardrobes, a desk, a large bathroom with a window and a large window through which natural light streams in and through which you can access a delicious shared patio presided over by a lemon tree (the lemons belong to whoever cares to pick them!).
You open your eyes and you can see the sky. And you’re up at the top. This room has a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ that puts you in a good mood from the very first moment you enter. And to celebrate, you can go up to your roof terrace, which is yours and yours alone. Go on your own spiritual retreat, toast the sunset and feel the intoxicating joy of living.
Some are ideal for families and also for couples. Some are for expansive people who seek lots of room and others for people who prefer more secluded and romantic spaces. And some, of course, are for our solo travellers, because whether you want to be alone or you want company, Casa Albertí will always be the home you want it to be.
